David trained with Levy and MacRae and went on to be a partner in several Glasgow and Central Scotland based firms. His client base includes some of the largest commercial landlords and property developers in Scotland. He represents a number of commercial lenders and banks. Following the financial crash of 2008 he advised both Banks and Borrowers on the restructuring of large scale debt and the disposal of toxic assets. He provides advice on new build residential and commercial projects including land acquisition, construction contracts, division and disposal. Advises and represents major commercial landlords in acquisition, leasing and disposal of assets throughout Scotland.
David has worked for over 35 years as a commercial lawyer. He has been partner in several firms before founding MTL with Julie Terrey. David has also acted for national house builders and in commercial and residential developments, construction projects and corporate takeovers of up to £25m in value.
